Salami Cream Base Mix

A fantastic all-season bait and an excellent alternative to fishmeals. We also believe this is the best cold-water bait ever developed, in fact, the colder the temperatures, the better the Salami Cream appears to work! However, it has got a phenomenal all-season track record and boasts an impressive list of big fish captures from a variety of difficult venues. Contains a finely balanced blend of soluble and fractionated milk proteins, betaine, high evergy cereal derivatives and our own exclusive combination of selected birdfoods. A brilliant milk/birdfood combo.

Suggested Recipe/Instructions
Crack x3 large eggs into bowl
Then add the following to the eggs:
3ml Salami-Stim concentrate (or 4ml Caramel Cream and 15ml Fruit Seed oil if making Cream seed recipe)
1 level tsp Sweet Cream Palatant
Stir well before slowly adding 16oz (approx 450g) Salami Cream Base Mix until the correct consistency is achieved (nice fim paste).
Roll as required and boil.
As a general guideline 16mm boilies for 2-mins, smaller boilies for less time and bigger boilies for longer.
Leave to cool/harden for several hours before placing into freezer.

To further boost attraction for short session/high attraction fishing, just pour approx 20ml of Salami Stim Boilie Glug over 1 kilo of boilies and shake well before freezing. As the bait defrosts it will 'suck in' the liquid attraction and further boost food signals.

Note: Customers may also wish to look at our Salami Cream Handy Packs, which include the Sweet Cream Palatant blended into the base mix at the correct levels, together with the required liquids packed inside the bucket. All you need to supply is the eggs!

Nutritional Base Mixes

Rob Fielding knows the importance of using a high quality food bait and as soon as he switched over to using Essential Baits, it completely transformed his fishing.

It almost goes without saying just how important I believe a good quality nutritional base mix is when it comes to catching carp on a consistent basis. You’ve only got to look at the success of the B5, year after year, to understand that a good quality food source will completely out-fish baits with lower nutritional values.

One of the most important things to remember is that carp have the ability to search out and recognise food signals prior to consumption. In other words, a good quality food source will spell the word FOOD as it releases ‘attractor signals’ into the surrounding water.

Baits constructed with little or no food value are unable to do this, and once any added attractors have been dispersed into the surrounding water, there will be no more food signals coming from the bait. In short, a good quality food bait will continue to send messages of food long after other baits have stopped working, and will continue to prove more successful, both short term and long term.
