Catch Reports

Consistent success

Posted in Catch Reports on 17th August 2010

Eddie Johnson from North Wales has been making his 550-mile round trips to the Essex Manor worthwhile with a consistent amount of big fish. Some of you might remember that long distance carper Eddie banked the Fat Lady last year at 55lb 3oz so he’s no stranger to big carp.

Eddie’s recent trips have yielded some cracking carp, including specimens of 38lb 3oz, 37lb 2oz, 33lb 6oz, 29lb and 24lb. As with the fat Lady, he’s recent run of big fish have once again fallen to the ever consistent Shellfish B5. We really can’t give this guy enough credit for the amount of effort he puts into his fishing when you consider the amount of miles he clocks up. A top bloke and a top angler who deserves all the success he gets. Well done Eddie, top B5 bombing – again!!
